We envision a more efficient, environmentally friendly catalytic chemistry with more versatile, biodegradable polymers. To help realize this goal, we strive to
1) Develop new metal-catalyzed chemistry to facilitate the synthesis of novel biodegradable polymers.
2) Explore degradable polymer material systems, especially the diversity of their properties and practicality.
3) Combine new chemistry and new materials to promote a new paradigm in the polymer industry.
